Business Coaching
It is well established in modern management that coaching styles
offer the best route for developing people.
However, it can be difficult to be both a manager and coach though,
as there is rarely the independence that allows for a full and frank
coaching relationship that ultimately brings about the greatest
growth.
Appointing a coach brings in someone who is accountable to the
manager in terms of the outcomes that are to be achieved, but allows
the coachee to have the space and confidence of developing themselves
in what they will feel is a non judgemental and safe place.
"In a Hay Group Survey of Human
Resources professionals from across the world, 70 % of those
responded believed coaching is more effective than training
courses as a means for personal development."
